| Description : | Consummate Aor and probably one of the finest releases of its kind from the 80's. Rodney Pyska, Kevin Valentine, Alan Greene were ex Breathless/Donnie Iris & The Cruisers with Albrighton McClain having only played with the latter. Trent Reznor is pretty much an unknown entity thus far, but would achieve almost legendary (or is that notorious) status in later years with Industrial Rock band Nine Inch Nails ("Head Like A Hole"), a solo effort in every sense since he was the only member.After The Innocent split, Greene along with Valentine played on Mark Avsecs first solo album with Cellar Full Of Noise . Kevin Valentine then went onto play with a string of bands: The Godz, Harlow, Shadow King, Cinderella, Neverland, Riverdogs and was at one stage linked with Kiss. Albritton McClain currently writes film scores with a new age feel. Whatever! they left us with a classic album seldom bettered and one that should be remastered and re-issued immediately, with a pile of bonus unreleased tracks to quench our thirsts. Note that "Heartzone" was covered on Cellarful Of Noises excellent 2nd album, "Magnificent Obsession" (1988) without guitars! "LITS" was never issued on CD and is quite rare, so if you have one, then its a bootleg of Japanese origin and you've been royally shafted. Stunning stuff! Ah! but I forgot one: The Peter Emmett Story-s/t (1983) considered a lost Donnie Iris & The Cruisers album, also had Valentine & McClain backing up Peter Emmett on this fine solo release. Now... I think I'm done...

In 1986 Rodney Psyka was involved with a band called Dreamstreet. They released an album(or maybe demos at the time) entitled "Heartzone". A great bunch of tunes reissued by Retrospect in 2006. which included the classic The Innocent cut, "Heartzone".
