| Description : | Driver was the original name for the band M.A.R.S. who released an excellent hard rock album "Project Driver". The history seems rather complex, with band members coming and going leaving Rob Rock the only survivor. It seems that Jeff Scott Soto was also in the running to front the band too. The subject is best left to those in the know.
What we have though is classy melodic rock like a mix of Dio circa "Holy Diver" and Lion (Kal Swan), with a little more in the way of keyboards.
2008, saw Rob Rock and Roy Z reunite, pulling in three new band members, to rerecord original Driver tunes, plus a batch of new.
Nothing changes, more, fantastic melodic hard rock, in the same vein as those bands mentioned earlier.
Truth is...they don't make em like this anymore!
