SHADOW KING
| Genre : | Melodic Rock |
| Country : | |
| Description : | In my humble opinion... a bona fide melodic rock classic! A wee bit of a super group, this one, that I believe was going to be Lou Gramms third solo outing, but, due to a departure from the slick Aor he had played on his previous two, decided to make it a band venture under the moniker of Shadow King (great name!). Prime time melodic radio rock, as you might expect, though it did receive something of a slagging from the critics.
Check out the soundbyte, and make up your own mind! The band never got round to touring, just playing the one gig at the London Astoria, which, by all accounts, ... was utter "mince".
Vivian Campell went on to join Def Leppard: Lou Gramm back to Foreigner , though he did take a few years off to get over surgery for a brain tumour.
Bruce Turgon released a solo cd "Outside Looking In" in 2005
