ABLE KANE

Genre : Pomp Rock
Country : USA
Description : Very obscure slice of vinyl. The back cover indicates that there are only 7 songs on the Lp, but actually theres 10 (misprint ???).
Also the running order on the back cover is totally different to the Lp. Anyway, the music is the more important and this is very good. Check out the MP3 and you'll agree that this is one of those treasures and a must for every AOR addict. Hook laden AOR with lots of guitars, a decent amount of keys and high pitched vocals (you like or hate them…).
The songs are great, especially the first side which is fantastic! On side 2 the guys offend by covering Herman's Hermits' "No Milk Today"…Yuk!
What is also interesting to know is guitarist, Steve Parry later on joined Heavens Edge, and achieved a bit more success.

excellent lp, very guitar oriented melodic hard rock, but closer to ANGEL than the DOKKEN/T.N.T. kinda sound; infact is not so refined to be called "class metal", maybe because of the low-fi production. singer needed discipline. great music anyway. uneasy to locate.
